I first met Taylor and Andrew after they had already booked me for their wedding. It was at their engagement session that I realized they were going to be such a fun wedding couple to photograph, and they did not disappoint! We started the day at Taylor's parent's home which provided a lovely spot for the girls to get ready as well as do a little bit of partying before the big day started (some footage of that on my Instagram story...@iamluv_ed). When it was time to get Taylor dressed I realized quickly that this was going to be a day with a lot of laughs and a lot of happy tears. It was a calm morning, getting Taylor dressed was filled with laughs, but as soon as her dad saw her for the first time, it turned into tears all around...photog included!
While I was with the girls Brianne, my second shooter was already at the church meeting the guys for some photos as well as preparing for the ceremony. The ceremony followed suite with a lot of laughs as one of the flower girls whipped her flowers down the aisle. There were also happy tears as the bride and groom said their "i do's". Andrew had so many different expressions as Taylor walked down the aisle, and her mom gleamed with happiness as she watched her daughter. (Cue photog crying again....i love a good wedding).
Following the ceremony there was a ribbon send off and then off to take photos. The bridal party all around were great sports about taking photos. We got them done quickly, but everyone seemed to have a lot of fun and continue the party during the photos which is always fun. We did some at BirdHaven Greenhouse's campus, and then went to Pilcher Park to finish them off. The sun was starting to set which made an exquisite, simple background for all the formal photos, and the blues in the girls dresses really popped and made for gorgeous images!
The reception was a fun one to photograph with amazing speeches, a fun welcome speech from the couple (insisting everyone party all night), the sweetest first dances, and a packed party the whole night. We so enjoyed watching the couple amongst those closest to them, all celebrating them and happy for them. We left that night with smiles knowing the images were amazing, and knowing there was no way this couple could have thought their day was anything less than perfect. A huge congratulations to them, and a thank you for trusting us with your memories and making us part of the fun! xoxo
